Jim Craig is an air taxi and scenic flight pilot operating out of Seward, Alaska. His writing career has developed over several decades during which he grew up as an Army brat and lived in Yugoslavia, Iran, Germany, Hawaii and several places in the Lower Forty Eight states. 

   Initially educated at the Military Academy at West Point, he spent five years in the US Army as an Airborne Ranger qualified artillery officer. Jim has also been a school psychologist, family therapist, professional musician, photographer, management consultant, sales engineer, computer systems administrator, repo man and commercial pilot. Whew!

 In spite of this well rounded background (some would say unable to hold a job), Jim devoted twenty consecutive years to a mental health career serving children and families in Colorado. 

   Discovering Alaska and finding an opportunity to fly here commercially was the culmination of a life long dream. Alaska has been a treasure chest of intriguing experiences and unforgettable characters that fill the pages of North To Disaster and will continue to delight and entertain readers for many more volumes to come.
